BOSSIER CITY, La. — Bonvenu Bank has hired Dennis Bamburg Jr. as vice president and business development officer, the bank said.
Bamburg will work with the bank’s commercial banking teams across northwest Louisiana and the Capital Region to support growth initiatives and client relationships.
A lifelong resident of Bossier Parish, Bamburg brings more than 20 years of experience in business development, sales leadership and relationship management. He is the owner and operator of the Dennis Bamburg Agency, where he built a full-service insurance business focused on customized client solutions.
His background also includes roles in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, where he focused on growth strategies, partnerships and consultative sales across complex markets.
Bamburg serves as a Louisiana state representative for District 5 and previously served on the Bossier Parish School Board, including as board president.

Bamburg said he plans to work closely with the bank’s commercial teams to support local businesses and growth efforts.
