SHREVEPORT, La. – The 9th Annual Virginia K. Shehee Most Influential Woman Awards will take place on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at East Ridge Country Club. Sponsored by The Shreveport Times and Red River Bank, the event honors outstanding women who have made significant contributions to the community through their leadership, expertise, and philanthropy.
Named after civic leader, businesswoman, and philanthropist Virginia K. Shehee, this prestigious award recognizes women who embody her legacy of service. Each year, a select group of nominees is honored, with six women receiving the Most Influential Woman Award and six young women recognized with the Most Influential Young Woman Award. One honoree from each category will be named the Most Influential Woman and Most Influential Young Woman of 2025.

Community members can support the event by purchasing individual tickets for $75 or table sponsorships for $1,000. Table sponsorships include eight luncheon tickets, program recognition, and social media and website acknowledgments.

Proceeds Benefiting Holy Angels
Now in its ninth year, the Virginia K. Shehee Most Influential Woman Awards benefit Holy Angels, an independent nonprofit serving approximately 185 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Holy Angels provides comprehensive education, job and skills training, and community integration programs.
