With their invaluable contributions, we look forward to reaching new heights and achieving even greater outcomes for those we support.”
Leadership Transition
The organization recognizes the remarkable leadership of the late John Tuggle, former executive director of Shreve Memorial Library, who served as board chair in 2024. His dedication, passion, and vision left an indelible legacy that UWNWLA will always cherish.
Succeeding Tuggle as board chair is Toni Tyner, Vice President and Business & Community Development Officer at Progressive Bank. Tyner, a long-time board member, brings extensive experience and unwavering dedication to her new role.
“One of my favorite quotes is, ‘Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success,’ by Henry Ford,” said Tyner. “By staying united in purpose and working collaboratively, we not only make progress but also achieve lasting success. I am honored to follow in John’s footsteps to build a stronger, healthier community for everyone.”
