BATON ROUGE, La. — The Louisiana Division of the Arts (LDOA) will open the application period for its Fiscal Year 2025–2026 Louisiana Project Grant on Monday, May 5, 2025, with applications due by Friday, June 27, 2025. The grant period will run from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026, with awards ranging from $2,500 to $7,500.
Administered in partnership with the state’s nine regional arts councils, the Louisiana Project Grant provides funding for projects that engage local communities through the arts. Eligible applicants include artists, nonprofit organizations, public and private schools, colleges, universities, and local government agencies.
In a notable expansion for this grant cycle, Culinary Arts has been added as a recognized discipline in celebration of the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation & Tourism’s “Year of Food.”
“So much of our culture revolves around our cuisine and Culinary Arts, with every region of our state using seasonal ingredients and recipes handed down through generations,” said Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser. “The Louisiana Project Grant will help foster creativity and community engagement in ways that will enhance our regions far beyond the grant period.”
