Tom Simms of Carr, Riggs & Ingram Named Chairman of the Board
SHREVEPORT, La. – The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2025 Board of Directors, with Tom Simms of Carr, Riggs & Ingram CPA’s and Advisors appointed as the Chairman of the Board. Simms succeeds Michael Corbin of Southwestern Electric Power Co. (SWEPCO), who served as the 2024 Chairman.
“We are delighted to have Tom Simms serve as our Board Chairman for 2025,” said Dr. Timothy Magner, President of the Greater Shreveport Chamber. “Tom has been personally engaged with the Chamber for more than 30 years and brings a wealth of leadership and business acumen to this role.”
Simms emphasized the strength and diversity of the 2025 Board of Directors, which is committed to advancing the business community.
“Our 2025 Board is a very strong and diverse group of business leaders prepared to serve and represent our business community,” Simms said. “We met together during our Board Retreat in early January and are energized for the year ahead.”
