The Bossier Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), hosted a Legislative Issues Luncheon featuring Will Green, president and CEO of LABI. The event took place Thursday, April 3, at 11:30 a.m. at the Bossier Parish Central Library.
“We are grateful to have people like Will Green who travel around the state promoting policies that support the business community,” said Lisa Johnson, president and CEO of the Bossier Chamber of Commerce. “Now, we need to do our part by supporting the legislation proposed by our local elected officials and acknowledging the successes that we have already achieved in Bossier. You can support our elected officials by staying informed, talking to them directly about the policies that matter to you, and voting in every election.”
The luncheon provided an opportunity for the local business community to engage in discussions on key legislative priorities ahead of the upcoming session. Green addressed pressing issues impacting businesses across Louisiana and emphasized the importance of staying informed about policy changes that could reshape the state’s economic landscape.
With businesses facing evolving challenges, the event served as a platform for dialogue between industry leaders and policymakers. Attendees gained valuable insights into legislative developments while sharing their perspectives on the future of business in northwest Louisiana.
