The State Fair of Louisiana is gearing up for its 119th annual celebration, scheduled for October 30 through November 16, 2025, at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds in Shreveport. A cherished tradition for generations of families across the region, the event promises exciting entertainment, classic fair food, and attractions for all ages.
Beginning July 7, fairgoers can purchase advance discount tickets online at www.statefairoflouisiana.com, offering a chance to save while planning ahead for the fall festivities.
This year’s fair will once again feature Talley Amusements as the official carnival provider, delivering high-energy rides and a bustling midway experience. Guests can also enjoy:

The Fair will operate for 14 days, with closures on Mondays and Tuesdays. Daily hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is free until 3 p.m. on weekdays, and parking is free throughout the entire run of the event.
