Greater Shreveport Chamber Event Strengthens Business Connections Through Competition and Community
Shreveport, La. — With clear skies and perfect weather, the Greater Shreveport Chamber hosted its 5th Annual “SHOOT HAPPENS!” Sporting Clays Tournament on Saturday, April 26, 2025, drawing a record-breaking 18 teams to the Shreveport Gun Club for a day of competition, camaraderie, and community celebration.
Participants navigated a challenging 12-station course filled with sharp shooting, colorful powder blasts, and creative bonus challenges, all contributing to one of the most successful tournaments in the event’s history.
“At its heart, this tournament is about more than just great shooting—it’s about bringing people together,” said Dr. Tim Magner, President of the Greater Shreveport Chamber. “Events like ‘SHOOT HAPPENS!’ strengthen the bonds between businesses, build relationships across industries, and showcase the vibrancy of our community.”
