BATON ROUGE, La. (Feb. 26, 2025) – LWCC, Louisiana’s largest workers’ compensation provider, has announced the 2024 Safest 70 Awards, recognizing companies across the state for their commitment to workplace safety. Among this year’s honorees are several Northwest Louisiana-based businesses, highlighting the region’s dedication to protecting employees and reducing workplace risks.
Established in 2008, the Safest 70 Awards reflect LWCC’s ongoing commitment to promoting a culture of safety that benefits businesses, employees, and communities.

Northwest Louisiana Honorees
The following Northwest Louisiana companies were named among LWCC’s 2024 Safest 70:
- Bossier Parish EMS
- Bossier Parish Police Jury
- Volunteers of America North Louisiana
- The Baton Rouge Clinic, AMC (which has operations in North Louisiana)
Award recipients must be in good standing with LWCC for five consecutive years and demonstrate a proactive approach to workplace safety. These businesses work closely with LWCC’s Safety Services Team to identify and mitigate potential risks.
