SHREVEPORT, La. — Caddo Common Park will host four free outdoor concerts over two weekends in September and October. The lineup includes two performances in the Levitt AMP Shreveport Music Series.
The schedule is:
Date Time Performers Friday, Sept. 25 6–8 p.m. Joanie Nerrettig and Southern rock trio Native to the Parish Saturday, Sept. 26 5–7 p.m. New Orleans alt-country band Ever More Nest, with an opening poetry reading by Caddo Parish Poet Laureate Crystalyn Whitaker Friday, Oct. 2 6–8 p.m. Shreveport singer and songwriter Sweet Nay Saturday, Oct. 3 5–7 p.m. Texas blues-rock guitarist and singer Ally Venable
Visitors may bring picnics, blankets and lawn chairs. Food vendors, an arts market and children’s activities, including art projects and sprinkler play, are also planned.
The Shreveport Regional Arts Council programs Caddo Common Park. The council was selected for a multiyear grant from the Levitt Family Foundation to present free outdoor concerts in 2026, 2027 and 2028. The Sept. 26 and Oct. 3 shows are part of its Levitt AMP series.
Park programming receives funding from the City of Shreveport, Caddo Parish and other sponsors.
