LWCC, a prominent workers’ compensation provider in Louisiana serving nearly 20,000 companies, acknowledged the Police Jury’s exemplary efforts in ensuring the safety and well-being of its workforce.

Butch Ford, Parish Administrator, expressed gratitude for the special honor, emphasizing the professionalism exhibited by the men and women of the Police Jury in their daily job duties. Ford particularly highlighted the efforts of the highway department, where the risk of accidents is notably higher, and commended the staff for maintaining a safe workplace environment.

Jason Hazelton, LWCC Safety Consultant, emphasized the corporation’s mission to safeguard Louisiana’s workforce. He explained that the Safest 70 Awards serve to spotlight businesses that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to employee safety by implementing measures to create safer workplaces.

The recognition from LWCC underscores the importance of prioritizing safety in the workplace and acknowledges the significant efforts made by the Bossier Parish Police Jury in this regard.
