Shreveport, Louisiana – The deadline for nominations for the prestigious 40 Under Forty Awards is fast approaching, with submissions closing on May 10th at 5:00 PM. This annual program, organized by the Young Professionals Initiative of Northwest Louisiana and presented by The Forum, celebrates the region’s most exceptional entrepreneurs, executives, managers, and professionals under the age of 40.
The 40 Under Forty Awards shine a spotlight on individuals who have demonstrated remarkable achievement, innovation, leadership, and community involvement. Winners are selected based on their contributions to their companies, communities, and industries, as well as their potential to become future leaders.
Young professionals, defined as business professionals and corporate leaders aged 21 to 40, are the backbone of this initiative. Motivated, educated, and community-conscious, these individuals are committed to making a difference in their communities while excelling in their careers.
To be eligible for nomination, individuals must meet the following criteria:
- Be under 40 years of age as of July 31st during the award year.
- Have made a significant impact on their company or community.
- Demonstrate the potential to emerge as leaders in business, politics, or the community in the next decade.
- Live and work in Northwest Louisiana.
However, certain individuals are not eligible for nomination, including previous 40 Under Forty award recipients, previous Young Professional of the Year recipients, Chamber employees, and Chamber award recipients of any kind in the past year.
