Enjoy the Art, Donuts, History, & Music of the September Downtown Shreveport Artwalk

by BIZ Magazine

As we head into the long Labor Day weekend, one thing is certain. Artwalk is coming! The first Wednesday Downtown Shreveport Artwalk is Sept. 6 from 5-8 pm. It combines the best of the ‘F’s- Free, Family-friendly and Fun!

The monthly Downtown Development Authority Artwalks give folks the opportunity to meet local artists and see and shop local art, learn about downtown history and architecture with the History in 5 talk and Sketch the City with architect Mischa Farrell, enjoy touring a variety of buildings that have been rehabbed as restaurants, offices, residential and attractions, to experience live music and various food and drink options and to enjoy a safe and entertaining three hours of exploring downtown Shreveport.

Artwalk has no starting place or stopping point, where you start and the direction you take is up to you! You can find a map to guide you at www.downtownshreveport.com/artwalk.
