RUSTON – Argent Mineral Management, a subsidiary of Argent Financial Group, announced that it has promoted David Smith to Louisiana manager and business development officer.
Smith will continue to oversee business development and implementation and will also provide leadership and management in the company’s Ruston and Shreveport offices in Louisiana. He will report directly to David Luke, Argent Mineral Management president.
“David has been a valuable member of the Argent Mineral Management team for 10 years,” said Luke. “He has the respect of our staff, as well as our client mineral owners. This promotion is well deserved.”
Smith previously served as business development officer and property consultant, focusing on cultivating relationships with existing and prospective clients for the firm.
“I have enjoyed being a part of the Argent team of wealth management experts and look forward to my new role,” said Smith. “I appreciate the opportunity to lead and serve. I am excited to expand the ways our team can best serve our clients, as well as continue to act in their best interests.”
Smith received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Louisiana Tech University. He also serves as president of the Louisiana chapter of the National Association of Royalty Owners (NARO) and is a board member of NARO national.
