SHREVEPORT, La. — Casinos in the Shreveport-Bossier market generated more than $52.2 million in gaming revenue during April, marking a 22.7% increase from the same month a year earlier despite a decline from March totals, according to data released by Louisiana State Police.
The market’s six riverboat casinos reported combined revenue of $52.2 million in April, down 4.6% from March’s $54.7 million but up nearly $9.6 million compared with April 2025.
Margaritaville Resort Casino remained the top-performing property in the market with $14.6 million in April revenue, though the total was down 8.5% from March. Live! Casino posted $12.1 million in revenue, up 1.8% month over month and nearly 25% higher than a year earlier.
Horseshoe Bossier City generated $10.8 million in revenue, down 4.8% from March but nearly double its April 2025 performance. Bally’s Shreveport reported $8.2 million in revenue, a 10.8% increase year over year despite a monthly decline of 4.9%.
Boomtown Bossier posted $4 million in revenue, up 6.1% from a year earlier, while Sam’s Town recorded $2.4 million, down 12.4% compared with April 2025.
Statewide, Louisiana’s riverboat casinos generated $168.7 million in April revenue, down 2.5% from March but up 11.1% from April 2025. The Shreveport-Bossier market outpaced all other major Louisiana gaming markets in year-over-year growth.
