Ruston, LA – One of Louisiana’s most beloved and long-standing community events is preparing to celebrate a monumental milestone. The 75th Annual Louisiana Peach Festival, presented by b1BANK, returns to Downtown Ruston on Saturday, June 7, 2025, with a full day of live music, food, art, and family fun—all free and open to the public.
The festival’s headline entertainment will be The Band of Heathens, a nationally recognized country rock band based in Austin, Texas. Known for their genre-blending sound and independent spirit, the group will finally take the Peach Festival stage after their highly anticipated 2024 appearance was canceled due to inclement weather.
“We’re thrilled to welcome The Band of Heathens back to Ruston and offer a dynamic, diverse music lineup for this special celebration,” said Tori Davis, Director of Marketing and Communications for Experience Ruston. “It’s our way of thanking the community and showcasing regional talent during this exciting Diamond Jubilee year.”
🎶 A Day Packed with Music and More
The Band of Heathens will close out the festival with an 8:30 p.m. performance at Railroad Park, anchoring a day filled with twelve straight hours of entertainment. The full lineup includes:
- Mr. Taylormade & the Taylormade Band
- Hidden Tracks
- Chancie Neal
- The Lovers
- LA Jay & the Zydeco Backwood Boyz
- Haley Brooke
- Zebb Rogers
- Elise Clare Causey
- Russ-Town Band
🍑 More Than Just Music
Beyond the stage, festival-goers can explore a market of nearly 100 vendors, enjoy peach-themed treats, browse local arts and crafts, and engage in interactive kids’ activities. The festival continues to be a vital economic engine for Lincoln Parish, drawing visitors from across the state and injecting tourism dollars into local hotels, restaurants, and small businesses.
🖼️ 2025 Poster Design Winner Announced
The festival has also announced the winner of its annual poster design contest: Erik Martinez-Rodriguez, whose artwork will grace the official 2025 Peach Festival poster and merchandise. Festival t-shirts and posters will be available in mid-May and at the event.

A Legacy of Tradition and Growth
First held in 1951, the Louisiana Peach Festival began as a way to celebrate and promote the region’s peach farming industry. Today, it stands as one of the state’s longest-running agricultural festivals and a testament to community pride, creativity, and economic growth. The festival is a collaborative effort produced by the City of Ruston, Downtown Ruston, and Experience Ruston.
As the festival celebrates its 75th year, anticipation is high for what promises to be its most memorable event yet.
