BATON ROUGE, LA – Louisiana Lottery players hit it big in February, claiming a total of $24.6 million in winnings across scratch-off games, lottery drawings, and Fast Play instant-win games.
Scratch-off Wins Lead the Way
Lottery players took home nearly $17.6 million in cash prizes from scratch-off games, including a $500,000 10X top prize sold in Lafayette. Additionally, $2.2 million worth of free-ticket prizes were awarded to scratch-off players.
Big Wins in Draw-Style Games
Draw-style game winnings totaled $6.4 million in February, with highlights including:
🎟 Easy 5 jackpot wins: Two winners claimed a combined $190,000.
🎟 Pick 3 prizes: $1.89 million in winnings.
🎟 Pick 4 prizes: $2.62 million awarded.
🎟 Pick 5 prizes: $367,525 paid out.
🎟 Powerball match-4 + Powerball: Three winners each took home $50,000.
🎟 Powerball with Power Play: More than 23,000 players won an additional $149,346, bringing total Powerball winnings to $255,976.
🎟 Mega Millions with Megaplier: Over 14,000 players won $82,726 in bonus prizes, with total winnings reaching $138,090.
Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets promptly, as winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
Fast Play Games Add to the Excitement
Fast Play instant-win players claimed $682,000 in winnings last month. These tickets must be claimed within 90 days of the game’s closure.

In fiscal year 2024, the Louisiana Lottery allocated:
