SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER, LA – One of the nation’s premier archery tournaments is returning to Northwest Louisiana. The Easton Hoyt Archery Shooters Association (ASA) Pro/Am Tour will once again be hosted at Camp Minden, April 24–27, 2025, bringing with it thousands of archers, spectators, and families to Caddo, Bossier, and Webster parishes.
Now in its fourth year at this location, the tournament is a major economic driver for the region. The 2024 event generated an estimated $2.4 million in economic impact and drew 1,237 shooters from 41 states and three countries, including 136 from Louisiana. An impressive 89% of participants traveled from out of state, underscoring the tournament’s national appeal.
The weekend’s marquee event, the Pro Pressure Point Shoot Down, will take place on Saturday, April 26 at 3 p.m. at the Bossier Civic Center. The thrilling showdown will feature the tournament’s top-ranked archers in a high-stakes finale. All events are free and open to the public, making this a can’t-miss opportunity for locals and visitors alike.
“Hosting this event for the fourth year gives Shreveport-Bossier a chance to showcase our outdoor beauty and what makes our region special,” said Stacy Brown, President and CEO of Visit Shreveport-Bossier. “With over 1,200 registered shooters and their families from around the world, it’s a great opportunity to boost our economy while giving visitors a taste of our vibrant culture, local cuisine, and unique attractions.”
