BOSSIER CITY, La. — CYBER.ORG, the academic initiative of the Cyber Innovation Center, has launched the CYBERPortal, a centralized platform that combines its cybersecurity curriculum, hands-on learning tools and educator resources into a single online system.
The new platform replaces the organization’s previous Canvas-based system and serves as the primary access point for the enhanced CYBER.ORG Range, curriculum materials, assessments and other applications. The organization said the portal is designed to simplify cybersecurity instruction by allowing educators to manage course content, interactive labs and student learning from one platform.
CYBER.ORG said the portal is intended to reduce the need for educators to manage multiple applications while supporting cybersecurity and artificial intelligence education for K-12 students. The platform also offers customizable curriculum and lab options for higher education institutions, workforce development organizations and government agencies.
The enhanced CYBER.ORG Range, available through the portal, includes a redesigned interface and cloud-based cybersecurity labs that allow students to complete offensive and defensive cybersecurity exercises in a secure, browser-based environment without requiring dedicated hardware or software. The labs are aligned with the organization’s curriculum and are intended to help learners prepare for industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications.
According to the organization, the platform includes a centralized dashboard for delivering instruction, scalable deployment intended to reduce administrative complexity, and secure sandbox environments where students can develop practical cybersecurity skills.
CYBER.ORG said access to the platform and the enhanced Range will remain free for K-12 educators across the United States. Pricing will be available for school districts, higher education institutions, workforce development organizations and other nonprofit organizations requiring broader access.
The CYBERPortal and enhanced CYBER.ORG Range become available Aug. 3.
CYBER.ORG is a cybersecurity workforce development organization that provides no-cost cybersecurity curriculum and professional development resources for K-12 educators.
