Shreveport, LA – In response to delays in processing property tax notices, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) has announced measures to accommodate residents, including an extended deadline for interest-free payments until January 13, 2025.
The delay, attributed to receiving tax roll information later than usual, caused a postponement in mailing property tax notices. Notices began mailing the week of Thanksgiving, and the process is still ongoing. Sheriff’s Office officials emphasized their commitment to minimizing inconvenience for taxpayers during this time.
