BOSSIER CITY, LA – Each year, the Bossier Chamber of Commerce shines a spotlight on the everyday heroes who go above and beyond in their service to others. The Salute to Community Heroes breakfast event—one of the Chamber’s most cherished traditions—is back in 2025 to honor those who have made a profound impact in Northwest Louisiana.
From educators and healthcare professionals to military personnel, first responders, manufacturers, and tech innovators, the Chamber is seeking nominees across multiple sectors who have made a significant difference in the lives of others, whether through acts of courage, compassion, or commitment that exceed the expected call of duty.
“These are the people who don’t just show up for work—they show up for their communities,” said Lisa Johnson, President and CEO of the Bossier Chamber. “The Salute to Community Heroes event allows us to share their stories, recognize their impact, and thank them in a meaningful way.”
Nominees selected for recognition will be honored at the event and awarded a Community Hero medal, symbolizing their dedication and selflessness. Past honorees have included individuals who saved lives in critical moments, inspired change through mentorship, or devoted themselves to serving vulnerable populations in our region.
The Chamber encourages businesses, organizations, and individuals to reflect on the people in their lives and workplaces who demonstrate extraordinary service and nominate them for this prestigious honor.
The deadline for submissions is Monday, April 7.
