SHREVEPORT, La. — Crews at Shreveport Regional Airport continued working Monday morning to remove layers of ice from key operational areas following recent winter weather, the airport said in a morning update.
Efforts are focused on clearing the primary runway, connecting taxiways, and the commercial aircraft ramp to ensure safe use for flight operations. Airport officials said they expect the areas to be cleared and safe for use later this evening but did not provide a specific timeline.
The airport advised travelers to check directly with their airlines for the most up-to-date flight information and said additional updates will be shared on its social media channels as conditions improve.
