BENTON, La. — The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office has mailed ad valorem property tax notices to parish property owners, Sheriff Julian Whittington announced.
“The Bossier Sheriff’s Office remains committed to providing residents with efficient and secure ways to meet their tax obligations,” Whittington said. “Property owners can remit property taxes in person, by mail, or online.”
Residents may view tax notices, review account details, and make payments by visiting the sheriff’s website and selecting the Pay Taxes tab. Users must enter the tax assessment number and the property owner’s last name as listed on the notice.
The Bossier Sheriff mobile app offers the same features and is available in the App Store and Google Play.
Payments may also be mailed to the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office at P.O. Box 850, Benton, LA 71006, or submitted in person at one of three locations during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:
- Bossier Parish Courthouse, 204 Burt Blvd. in Benton
- Viking Drive Substation, 2510 Viking Drive in Bossier City
- Arthur Ray Teague Substation, 3135 Arthur Ray Teague Parkway in Bossier City
Personal checks or money orders should be made payable to Sheriff Julian C. Whittington, Tax Collector.
