SHREVEPORT, La. – The State Fair of Louisiana is entering its final week, offering a full lineup of entertainment, discounts, and family-friendly events before closing on Sunday, Nov. 16.
The fair will be closed Monday and Tuesday and reopen Wednesday, Nov. 12. Operating hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Discounts and Admission Specials
This week’s promotions include free gate admission until 3 p.m. on weekdays.
- Wednesday, Nov. 12: Weekday Discount Day, with adult admission at $8.50 and children’s tickets (ages 3-12) at $4.50.
- Thursday, Nov. 13: Family Discount Day, offering one adult admission for $8.50 with one free child admission. Each additional child ticket costs $4.50. Carnival ride armbands are $28.
- Free parking is available daily.
Live Entertainment and Events
The concert schedule features a mix of country, Latino, and gospel performances:
- Friday, Nov. 14: Cody Cooke & The Bayou Outlaws at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 15: Latino Day, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., featuring performances by WOGM en Español (1:15 p.m.), Sima Ballet Folklórico (3:30 p.m.), Mariachi Los Caporales (4:15 p.m.), Los Varela Brothers (5 p.m.), La Actualidad Norteña (6:45 p.m.), and Control (8 p.m.).
A Fiesta en la Feria Latino Day VIP Experience will take place at the Lasso Lounge from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., offering a celebration of music, flavor, and culture.
- Sunday, Nov. 16: Gospel Mega Fest begins at 11 a.m., followed by the Military and Veteran Appreciation Day Parade at 2 p.m. and Faith at the Fair (Word of God Ministries) at 4 p.m. All active military members, veterans, and their families receive free admission with military ID.
