SHREVEPORT, La. — A group of local financial and elder care professionals will host a free educational luncheon, “A Practical Guide to Elder Care Planning,” on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Carr, Riggs & Ingram (CRI) in Shreveport, 1000 E. Preston Avenue.
The event, presented by Always Best Care, Carr, Riggs & Ingram, The Preferred Legacy National Trust Bank, and Level Four Financial, aims to help attendees better understand key aspects of planning for long-term care and estate management. The presentation will begin at 11:45 a.m.
Speakers will include Keith H. Carter, president and CEO of Always Best Care Senior Services Shreveport-Bossier; Amanda Mitchum, business unit leader and insurance specialist at Level Four Financial; and Lily Phou, vice president and senior wealth strategist at The Preferred Legacy National Trust Bank.
Topics will cover navigating elder care options, understanding long-term care insurance, and the essentials of wills and trusts. Organizers said the session is designed to provide practical insights and actionable steps for individuals preparing for their own futures or supporting aging loved ones.
The luncheon will also offer networking opportunities with local advisors in elder care, financial planning, and estate management, along with door prizes for attendees.
