BATON ROUGE, La. — Early voting for the Nov. 15 Open General/Orleans Municipal Parochial General Election runs Saturday, Nov. 1 through Saturday, Nov. 8, excluding Sunday, Nov. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Voters may cast ballots in person at their parish Registrar of Voters Office or other designated locations listed in the state’s voter portal at voterportal.sos.la.gov/earlyvoting.
The Secretary of State’s office encourages voters to use the GeauxVote Mobile app to find early voting sites, Election Day polling locations and sample ballots. GeauxBot, the virtual voter assistant, provides election information including registration deadlines, election dates, polling locations and hours at voterportal.sos.la.gov or via the Elections and Voting section of sos.la.gov.
Voters should bring an acceptable ID, such as a Louisiana driver’s license, Louisiana Special ID, a generally recognized photo ID with name and signature like a U.S. passport, or a digital license via LA Wallet.
