BOSSIER CITY, La. — The Bossier Chamber of Commerce will host its 2025 Public Policy Series this fall, bringing state leaders and policy experts to Northwest Louisiana to discuss legislative issues affecting the business community.
Presented by Willis Knighton Health, the series will include four events between late September and late October. The lineup begins Sept. 30 with Senate President Cameron Henry and House Speaker Phillip Devillier, who will address the state’s legislative outlook.
Other scheduled sessions include:
- Oct. 15: Louisiana’s fiscal landscape with Secretary of Revenue Richard Nelson.
- Oct. 20: Leaders for a Better Louisiana with Adam Knapp, president and CEO of Leaders for a Better Louisiana.
- Oct. 27: Workforce and economic development with Secretary Susana Schowen and Tedra Cheatham, executive director of LED Fast Start.
The chamber launched the Public Policy Series in 2024 and is continuing the program for a second year. Chamber President and CEO Lisa Johnson said the series is intended to connect businesses directly with decision makers.
