After 81 years in the Shreveport-Bossier market, The Holmes Auto Group is celebrating the opening of their second Holmes Honda dealership at 1040 Innovation Dr. in Bossier City.
The dealership’s ribbon cutting took place on Thursday night, May 10 with a special gathering of local officials and Holmes Honda employees.
Over two years in the making, this state-of-the-art facility will employ over 80 individuals.
“We are incredibly excited to celebrate the opening of this first-class Honda store,” said President of Holmes Auto Group Mark Johnson. “Holmes Honda Bossier City will continue our mission of ‘Making It Easy’ to buy and own a New Honda. There’s no better way to open our doors and show the community how proud we are of our new facility than to give something back as a ‘thank you’ to our neighbors.”
A Grand Opening Celebration will take place Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is open to the public and will include music, food, prizes, giveaways, and fun for the whole family. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote on the Best Food Truck in Shreveport/Bossier City during the “Food Truck Smackdown” with the winning truck receiving a donation to their favorite charity from Holmes Honda.
Holmes Auto Group has been a family owned and operated economic driver in the Ark-La-Tex since the first dealership opened its doors in 1937. Their original location is at 1331 E. Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport and is the No. 1 volume new car dealership in the Shreveport/Bossier City.
