Caddo Sheriff Long swears in eight deputies

Caddo Parish Sheriff Jay Long swore in eight new deputies to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office on Friday, June 13.

The new deputies are Cassandra Allen, Curtis Carrigan, Rory Hampton, Yaron Hawthorne, Lamarion Love, Sidney Moran, Brandon Normand, and Fleneshia Taylor.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is working hard to recruit new faces.

Applicants 21 years or older can apply. In addition, there are openings for corrections deputies, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, building and groundskeeper, telecommunications officers, and part-time courthouse security.
