Louisiana Tech College of Engineering and Science Names New Director of Development

Ruston, LA – The Louisiana Tech College of Engineering and Science has appointed Rosilynn Gillum as its new Director of Development. Gillum transitions to this role after previously serving as Director of Development for the University’s College of Education and Human Sciences.

“I am excited to join the College of Engineering and Science,” said Gillum. “This position allows me to connect the innovative work happening at Louisiana Tech with alumni and friends. I look forward to leveraging my experience at the University to highlight the college’s successes and innovation.”

Gillum began her career with the Louisiana Tech Foundation in November 2021 as the Director of Development for the College of Liberal Arts, where she also earned her degree in 2009.

“Rosilynn is a natural connector and excels at telling the University’s story,” said Devin Ferguson, Assistant Vice President for Philanthropy and Engagement in the Division of University Advancement. “I am confident that she will continue to achieve great success in the College of Engineering and Science. This area of our campus has been crucial to the University and will remain so in the future.”

Dr. Collin Wick, Dean of the College of Engineering and Science, expressed enthusiasm about the energy and creativity Gillum will bring to her new role.

“Rosilynn impressed me with her creative energy, and I am grateful that we attracted such an outstanding individual to join our college,” said Wick. “I am very excited and look forward to the great things she will accomplish as our new Development Director.”

The College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech University serves nearly 3,000 students and offers 13 undergraduate, six graduate, and five doctoral programs.
