Caddo Sheriff Long swears in eight deputies

Sheriff Jay Long swore in eight new deputies to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, April 11.

The new deputies are Elijah Kennon, Adam Hall, Shaquita Bryant, Kevina Maxie, April Maldonado, Reshiya Richardson, Logan Rowell and Ashley Samuel.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is working hard to recruit new faces. Applicants 18 years or older can apply. In addition, there are openings for security deputies, licensed practical nurses, building and groundskeeper, fleet maintenance, telecommunications officers, and laundry clerk. Those interested should visit caddosheriff.org to get information on qualifications, benefits, and how to apply.
