SHREVEPORT, La. — The Young Professionals Initiative of Northwest Louisiana has named its 40 Under Forty Class of 2026, recognizing professionals from businesses, government agencies, health care organizations, educational institutions and nonprofits across the region.
The Young Professionals Initiative, a program of the Greater Shreveport Chamber, selects honorees based on achievement, experience, innovation, leadership, vision and community involvement.
One member of the class will be named Young Professional of the Year during the 40 Under Forty Awards Gala on Dec. 4 at Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino in Shreveport. The event is scheduled for 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
“This year’s 40 Under Forty class highlights the energy and drive that are powering the future of Northwest Louisiana. Their range of occupations, demonstrated innovation, and community spirit remind us that leadership is about more than titles, it’s about making a difference,” said Timothy Magner, president of the Greater Shreveport Chamber. “We look forward to celebrating their accomplishments and the impact they are making on our region.”

The Young Professionals Initiative works to develop a network of community leaders under age 40 and support efforts to attract and retain young professionals in Northwest Louisiana.
