Shreveport, LA – SporTran has been named the Large Transit System of the Year by the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) during its 2025 Expo and Spring Meeting held in San Diego, California. The honor highlights SporTran’s leadership in innovation, service, and community mobility across the Shreveport-Bossier region.
The award recognizes outstanding performance, customer experience enhancements, and equity-driven service improvements. SporTran’s achievements were celebrated in front of more than 1,100 transportation professionals from across the nation. CEO Dinero Washington accepted the award alongside Chief of Staff Jimmy Thomas and other members of the executive leadership team.
