SHREVEPORT, La. — Small business owners and startup founders will have an opportunity to learn the basics of artificial intelligence during a free training program Sept. 9 at Louisiana State University Shreveport.
The Small Business bAIsics Training is designed for people with little or no previous AI experience and will focus on helping participants understand AI concepts and how the technology can be applied to their work.
The program will include interactive learning activities intended to demonstrate practical applications of AI. Participants also will have opportunities to network with other business owners and professionals.
Two sessions will be offered Sept. 9, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Both will be held in Rooms 105/106 of the LSUS Business/Education Building in Shreveport.
The training is offered at no cost. Participants are asked to bring a laptop or tablet.
Training topics listed for the program include managing a business, government contracting, cybersecurity assistance and networking.
