SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport Regional Airport recorded its busiest year since 1980, with more than 800,000 passengers traveling through the airport in 2025, according to figures released by airport officials.
The total of 800,135 passengers represents a 12 percent increase from 2024, or 84,602 additional travelers. The airport also reported passenger levels 17 percent higher than in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Airport officials attributed the growth to airlines adding larger aircraft and expanding service, including new nonstop flights to Nashville among the airport’s nine direct destinations.
The 2025 figures mark the first time in 45 years that Shreveport Regional has surpassed the 800,000-passenger milestone.
