The Republican Women of Bossier City hosted a special meeting Wednesday, Feb. 5, welcoming Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry for a private event as part of the group’s Republican Round Up.
Doors opened at 11 a.m., with the meeting beginning at 11:30 a.m., drawing members together for an exclusive opportunity to hear directly from the state’s top elected official. The event was described as a meaningful occasion for the organization, highlighting its ongoing efforts to connect local Republican leaders and members with state leadership.
Gov. Landry addressed attendees during the private event, sharing remarks on issues facing Louisiana and emphasizing the importance of grassroots involvement and civic engagement. Members had the opportunity to engage with the governor in a setting designed to foster discussion and strengthen relationships within the party.
Republican Women of Bossier City President Jane Smith said the event reflected the organization’s commitment to informed participation in the political process.
“We were honored to welcome Governor Landry to Bossier City for this special Republican Round Up,” Smith said. “Events like this give our members a chance to hear directly from our leaders and reaffirm our shared commitment to conservative values and the future of Louisiana.”
