RUSTON, La. – Origin Bank has been named one of American Banker’s Best Banks to Work For in 2025, marking the institution’s 13th consecutive year on the list. The bank ranked No. 8 overall and No. 2 among banks with assets between $3 billion and $10 billion.
The program, launched in 2013 by American Banker and Best Companies Group, identifies U.S. banks that demonstrate strong workplace cultures. This year’s list includes 90 institutions evaluated through a combination of workplace policy reviews and anonymous employee surveys. Survey results accounted for roughly 75 percent of the final score.
“Strong performance starts with strong culture,” said Drake Mills, chairman, president and CEO of Origin Bancorp Inc. “To make this list 13 years in a row and to once again rank again among the top 10 Best Banks to Work For reinforces how investing in culture and people remains one of Origin’s greatest strategic advantages.”
Lance Hall, president and CEO of Origin Bank, said the company’s focus on culture supports performance across its operations. “By cultivating and maintaining a strong culture, we’re able to make a measurable and meaningful difference in the lives of our employees and, in turn, the lives of our customers, communities and shareholders. When you invest in people, results follow,” Hall said.
Banks eligible for the program must have at least 50 U.S. employees and at least one year in operation. Best Companies Group managed the evaluation process and data analysis.
