BOSSIER CITY, La. — The Bossier Chamber of Commerce and its partners will host the Northwest Louisiana Career and Job Fair on March 3 and 4 at the Bossier Civic Center, offering more than 200 open positions across multiple industries.
March 3 will focus on job readiness programming, while the job fair will take place March 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organizers describe the event as the region’s premier veteran hiring initiative.
Registration for job seekers is free. Available opportunities include full-time, part-time, contract, internship and temporary roles. Employers will offer positions ranging from entry-level to management, including some remote opportunities.
Open roles include estimator, superintendent, project manager, carpenter, laborer, financial advisor, teller, branch manager, warehouse associate, line cook, dishwasher, van driver, room attendant, maintenance technician and guest service representative, among others. Several employers will conduct on-site interviews for qualified candidates.
The event is presented by Northrop Grumman and organized by the Bossier Chamber in partnership with Louisiana Works. Supporting partners include the City of Bossier City; the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; the American Job Center; Barksdale Air Force Base; the Barksdale Air Force Base 2nd Bomb Wing; the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce; the City of Shreveport; CHRISTUS Health; Brentwood Hospital; and Willis Knighton Health, among others.
