SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER, La. — Nominations are now open for Visit Shreveport-Bossier’s Annual Excellence in Hospitality Awards, which recognize professionals and businesses for their contributions to the region’s tourism and hospitality industry.
The 2026 awards gala is scheduled for May 7 at Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino in Shreveport. The event will highlight individuals and organizations demonstrating innovation, creativity, and resilience in local hospitality.
Nominations are free to submit and open to hospitality professionals and businesses across Shreveport-Bossier. Submissions will be accepted through April 10 at www.VisitShreveportBossier.org/awards, where a full list of award categories and the nomination form are available.
The Excellence in Hospitality Awards are held annually in conjunction with National Travel and Tourism Week, observed nationwide May 3–9. The national initiative, organized by the U.S. Travel Association, recognizes the economic impact and importance of travel and tourism across the United States.
