BATON ROUGE, La. – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana is named among Louisiana’s greatest workplaces in a recent ranking from Newsweek.
Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group rank top workplaces with 1,000 or more employees by state based on interviews, company reviews and survey responses. Through these methods, employees give feedback about their workplace’s culture, compensation and benefits packages, opportunities for professional development or advancement, and promotion of work-life balance.
“We’re thrilled to be one of Newsweek’s greatest workplaces in Louisiana,” said Sherri Enright, Louisiana Blue senior vice president and Chief People Officer. “We strive to create a work environment where everyone feels seen and appreciated and has room to grow in their careers. Being named a greatest workplace affirms that our employees recognize this, which is the highest honor we could ask for.”
“Our employees are the heart of our mission to improve the health and lives of Louisianians. We could not succeed without their dedication and commitment to the communities we serve,” Enright added.
In addition to this recognition, Louisiana Blue recently was named #1 in Member Satisfaction by J.D. Power’s 2025 U.S. Commercial Member Health Plan Satisfaction Study and was named among The Civic 50 for the seventh consecutive year.
