BATON ROUGE, La. — The LSU Board of Supervisors has officially announced the formation of its 2025 Presidential Search Committee. The committee will be tasked with identifying the next president of the LSU System, a role that oversees one of the largest and most influential university systems in the state.
In a statement released Friday, Board Chairman Scott Ballard emphasized the importance of the committee’s work and the caliber of individuals selected to serve.
“It is my honor to introduce the members of the 2025 LSU Presidential Search Committee,” said Ballard. “This distinguished and engaged group brings deep expertise, institutional knowledge, and a shared commitment to identifying the next transformative leader for our university system.”
The committee comprises a mix of current and past LSU Board members, higher education leaders, prominent business executives, and faculty representatives.
