BATON ROUGE, La. — The Louisiana Office of Tourism has opened applications for its fiscal year 2027 Cooperative Marketing Program, which provides matching grants to local tourism organizations for eligible media placements.
The program is open to Louisiana-based convention and visitors bureaus, tourist commissions, destination management organizations and certain political subdivisions authorized to promote tourism within their jurisdictions.
Eligible applicants may apply for up to $10,000. The program provides a 50% match, with funds distributed on a reimbursement basis.
“With hundreds of fairs and festivals, world-class food, music, culture, and outdoor experiences happening year-round, Louisiana has so much to offer. The Cooperative Marketing Program helps our local tourism partners tell Louisiana’s story to more visitors,” Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser said. “These grants help provide our CVBs and tourism organizations additional resources to compete for visitors, promote major events, and encourage travelers to stay longer and explore what makes their corner, and our entire state, so special.”
The fiscal year 2027 application is available on the ExploreLouisiana.com industry portal. Application packets must be postmarked, emailed or faxed by 4:30 p.m. Central on June 9. The application period closes June 9.
