RUSTON, La. — The 76th annual Louisiana Peach Festival will return to downtown Ruston on Saturday, June 6, with live music, local art, food vendors, family activities and community events.
Admission to festival grounds will be free through presenting sponsor b1BANK. The festival will feature more than 12 hours of live entertainment, the Peach Curated Market, Kids Alley, peach ice cream and other food vendors.
This year’s festival will include two new additions. Peachy Preview Night will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 5, after the Peach Parade, with select food vendors and downtown businesses open for shopping and dining. A 10-minute fireworks show will begin at 8:45 p.m. Saturday and can be viewed from Railroad Park before the evening headliner performs.
“The Louisiana Peach Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year for our community and an important driver of visitation to Lincoln Parish,” said Tori Davis, interim president and CEO of Experience Ruston. “We’re excited to introduce new additions this year while continuing the traditions that have made the festival a beloved Louisiana event for more than seven decades.”
The June 6 entertainment lineup includes Russ-Town Band, Virlyn Bangcot, Trey Gauthreaux, Swamp N Roll Pat Mason & Bayou Boogie, Josh Love Band, Elise Clare Causey, Stampede, Averyal Goyne, Tipsey and headliner The Chee Weez.
Additional events scheduled during festival week include the Peach Hunt, Peach Culinary Crawl, Peach Art Exhibit, Peachy Sidewalk Sale, Peach Parade, Peach Festival Rodeo, Run for the Peaches 5K, Peach Pickleball Tournament, Antique Car Show, and Queen Dixie Gem Peach and Princess Peach Pageant.
The festival also will sell commemorative merchandise featuring the 2026 theme, “Welcome to Peachtown, USA.” The winning design was created by Jenny Lazarus. Merchandise will be available at the Ruston Visitors Center, 2111 N. Trenton St., through Friday, June 5, and at the festival merchandise tent June 6.
The Louisiana Peach Festival dates to 1951 and was created by local peach farmers to promote the region’s peach industry. The event is produced through a partnership among the city of Ruston, Downtown Ruston and Experience Ruston.
