SHREVEPORT, La. — Hand Construction marked the end of another construction project with a ribbon cutting at the new Inland Truck Parts and Service location in Shreveport.
The 24,000-square-foot parts storage and service center facility is located at 6600 West 70th Street. Hand Construction crews spent the last year building the new facility. The building includes a parts storage area, offices and five truck bays where mechanics work on diesel trucks.
“This building represents another piece of the Shreveport-Bossier landscape built by Hand Construction,” said Hand Construction Vice President Kyle Hand. “Whether it’s commercial like Inland Truck Parts and Service, industrial, healthcare, or multifamily residential complexes, we put quality first. That is why most of our business comes from repeat customers.”
Hand Construction was established in 1980 by Cayce Hand. The company, which is now employee-owned, follows the principles of quality over quantity and relationships over revenue. The company has worked on projects across the Southeast from North Carolina to Texas and even as far north as North Dakota.
