SHREVEPORT, La. — The annual Give For Good online fundraising campaign raised nearly $3 million for nonprofit organizations across North Louisiana, according to organizers with the Community Foundation of North Louisiana.
The 24-hour giving event generated $2,955,485 through 8,473 donations from 4,062 donors benefiting 231 nonprofit organizations, according to results posted on the Give For Good website.
Give For Good, now in its 13th year, is designed to support charitable organizations throughout North Louisiana through a single-day online fundraising effort. The campaign allows donors to contribute directly to participating nonprofits through a centralized giving platform.
The event is hosted annually by the Community Foundation of North Louisiana and includes additional incentive funding through the organization’s Lagniappe Fund, which boosts donations to participating nonprofits.
Organizers previously set a fundraising goal of $2.8 million for the 2026 campaign. The final total exceeded that target by more than $150,000.
Give For Good has raised nearly $25 million for North Louisiana nonprofits since launching in 2014, according to the organization. The campaign supports nonprofits across multiple sectors, including education, health care, arts and culture, animal welfare and community services.
The organization said Give For Good will return May 4, 2027, with nonprofit registration expected to open later this year.
