SHREVEPORT, La. – Average gasoline prices in Shreveport rose by 2.9 cents per gallon over the past week, now averaging $2.63/g, according to GasBuddy’s latest survey of 177 local stations. Although prices are slightly higher than last week, they remain 6.3 cents lower than one month ago and 39.6 cents lower than this time last year.
GasBuddy’s data revealed that the cheapest station in Shreveport was priced at $2.39/g yesterday, while the most expensive was $2.99/g, creating a 60-cent spread. Statewide, Louisiana saw a similar range, with prices spanning from $2.39/g to $3.45/g—a difference of $1.06/g.
The national average for gasoline also increased slightly, up 2.0 cents over the past week to $3.11/g. Diesel prices rose 3.2 cents to an average of $3.676/g nationally.
