BOSSIER CITY, La. — Flying Heart Brewing & Pub plans to open its fourth location in early 2027 following renovations that are scheduled to begin this month at 5440 Airline Drive in Bossier City.
The locally owned brewery and restaurant will expand into the growing Benton area with a new location adjacent to Casa Jimador. The addition will join Flying Heart’s existing restaurants in Bossier City, Natchitoches and West Monroe.
As part of the project, the company is adding a beer garden and has launched a fundraising campaign that allows customers to purchase engraved bricks for $150. The personalized bricks will be installed in the beer garden, and purchasers will receive a commemorative T-shirt and an invitation to the restaurant’s soft opening. Military members and Flying Heart’s Tankard Members loyalty group will receive discounted pricing.
“Flying Heart is a place built for gathering and where community feels natural,” said co-founder Benjamen Hart. “It’s the community that has kept us around for more than a decade through their continued support, so we’re excited at the opportunity to be able to honor them in this way.”
Founded in 2015 by Benjamen Hart, Ben Pattillo and Jeffrey Judge, Flying Heart Brewing & Pub has grown from a single location into a regional brewery and restaurant brand serving handcrafted beers, specialty pizzas, wings and other pub fare.
“What started as an idea between friends has grown because people embraced it as their own,” said co-founder Ben Pattillo. “Every location has developed its own personality while staying true to who we are. We’re excited to bring that same experience to Benton and continue growing alongside our community.”
The company said its restaurants also serve as gathering spaces for community events, including trivia nights, music bingo and live entertainment.
“Our food has always been about bringing people together around the table,” said co-founder Jeffrey Judge. “Whether it’s sharing a pizza, enjoying wings with friends, or trying one of our seasonal specials, we’re excited to create another place where people can gather over a great meal.”
The Benton-area location represents the company’s latest expansion as it continues to grow its presence in North Louisiana.
