Six Local Entrepreneurs Receive Funding to Enhance Tourism Experiences in Shreveport-Bossier
SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER, LA — After months of idea development, workshops, and competitive pitches, Visit Shreveport-Bossier and the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP), a division of BRF, have announced the winners of Destination 318, a tourism-focused grant competition awarding $100,000 to locally driven projects that aim to grow the region’s visitor economy.
“This competition is our platform for innovation and impact in our community,” said Stacy Brown, President & CEO of Visit Shreveport-Bossier. “Destination 318 was created to elevate the voices of local entrepreneurs who see the opportunity to strengthen our region. These businesses represent the future of Shreveport-Bossier and will help build experiences that connect people with our unique culture.”
A panel of judges selected six winning businesses from a competitive field of applicants, each receiving funding to bring their ideas to life. The public also selected a People’s Choice winner, who received an additional $2,000 in funding.
