BOSSIER CITY, La. — Bossier Parish Community College is offering a series of registration events this spring and summer aimed at helping prospective and returning students complete enrollment for upcoming academic terms.
The college’s outreach includes multiple “one-stop” registration opportunities designed to connect students with admissions, financial aid and academic advising resources in a single visit.
BPCC will begin with an off-campus event, BPCC On Location, on April 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shreve Memorial Library David Raines Branch in Shreveport. The event is intended to bring enrollment services directly into the community, allowing attendees to receive assistance with applications, financial aid and course registration.
The college will also host its Super Saturday registration event on April 18 from 9 a.m. to noon at its Bossier campus. Faculty and staff will be available to help students complete the enrollment process, including registering for up to a full year of coursework and accessing financial aid and veteran benefits.
A Preview Day is scheduled for April 24 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the Bossier campus. The event will include a campus tour, meetings with faculty and staff, and information sessions on admissions, financial aid and academic programs.
Additional enrollment opportunities include Summer Registration Day on May 27 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. across BPCC campuses in Bossier City, Natchitoches and Sabine Valley, and fall registration on Aug. 12 during the same hours.
BPCC’s academic calendar includes a three-week online Maymester session beginning May 12, with summer classes starting May 28 and the fall semester beginning Aug. 13. Registration deadlines coincide with the first day of each session.
The college said the expanded schedule of registration events is intended to improve access to higher education and support workforce development by streamlining the enrollment process for students pursuing degrees and technical certifications in fields including healthcare, information technology, manufacturing and business.
