Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) is proud to announce the recipients of scholarships funded through a generous donation from Expand Energy to the BPCC Foundation. This year, 12 students pursuing degrees in Industrial Engineering Technology, Advanced Welding, and Oil & Gas Technology were selected to receive awards supporting their educational and career goals.
“Expand Energy’s long-standing partnership with BPCC continues to make a tremendous impact on our students and community,” said Joseph Brownlee, Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. “Their investment in education helps shape the next generation of industry leaders and ensures that Northwest Louisiana’s workforce remains skilled, innovative, and ready to meet the demands of our region and state.”
The scholarships are awarded to full-time students up to $2,000 and part-time students up to $500. The scholarship recipients include Clayton Collins, Cadarrion Lampkin, Blaine Florence, Joshua Hamilton, Wayne Harley, Clifton Walker, Zacharious Wynn, Jake Adger, Rex Appacrombie, Jacob Bryant, Latasha Qualls, and Joshua Walker.
Expand Energy’s support extends beyond scholarships. The company provides paid internships for BPCC students, serves on advisory boards, and actively participates in Employer Night and other campus events. These efforts help bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application, preparing students to enter the workforce with confidence and experience.
The scholarship recipients exemplify BPCC and Expand Energy’s shared mission to expand educational access, foster technical excellence, and prepare graduates for rewarding careers in STEM and energy-related industries.
